Thursday, September 17th & Friday, September 18th
Omni Viking Lakes || Eagan, MN
Meeting Room: Lodestar

Copic Mock Trial - Thursday, September 17th 5:30pm - 9:00pm (CT)
This session offers an inside look at what actually happens during the courtroom proceedings of a medical liability trial. Hosted by a Copic attorney, it provides a reenactment of an actual trial that includes opening arguments, cross-examination of witnesses, and closing statements. The facts of the case are presented to participants who serve as jury members, and ultimately put forth a verdict after hearing testimony from the plaintiff, an expert witness, and the defendant.

Mock Trial programs are designed as an education tool to learn and understand the chain of events from the time a suit is filed.

*Please note, if you attended a Mock Trial in 2024-2026, this program will feature the same case and materials (spinal epidural abscess diagnosis).

Copic Insights: A Half Day Symposium - Friday, September 18th 8:30am - 1:00pm (CT)

Led by physician and patient safety risk managers, the session features interactive discussions on common and emerging high-risk scenarios, along with real case examples from Copic’s medical liability experience.
